Eric has over 12 years of experience teaching private music lessons. He has been the lead singer and guitarist of many Seattle bands for over 20 years. He started playing violin at age five with the Suzuki method and added classical guitar when he was thirteen. He began singing and writing songs at 15 and has been the lead singer and guitarist of many bands from age 19 to the present. At Berklee College of Music in Boston, he studied jazz guitar and won a spot in the singer/songwriter showcase in his first year. Since 1990, Eric has performed in many Seattle bands playing his original songs as well as covers. Eric encourages his students to learn from their favorite songs and artists, and from the experience of playing with a band or group. 

He now offers music lessons for all ages and levels on guitar, bass, violin, cello, ukulele, banjo and voice/singing. All styles of guitar: classical, jazz, blues, rock, acoustic, electric. Suzuki method violin and cello as well as fiddle and folk styles.
